Meet allocators for your strategy
The Good Investing Day brings a small set of emerging and boutique fund managers into a room with a curated group of allocators. One focused afternoon in Munich, the day before the European Value Investing Conference.
“An invaluable event to meet fellow managers as well as allocators.”

Four Reasons to join us
A curated allocator room
A small, calm room of allocators, matched to your strategy. We curate the allocators first, then invite managers to match. Good food and time to talk with people who actually invest.
Conversations worth your time
Pre-arranged one-on-one meetings, so every conversation is with someone worth your time. Lunch, (walking) 1:1s, and an optional rooftop dinner give the day room to breathe.
Pre-matched meetings
Meetings where you can go deep with a few allocators, for the kind of discussion a five-minute pitch never allows. We build the schedule in advance from strategy fit.
The right people, already in town
The day before the European Value Investing Conference, when the right people are already in Munich. During your trip, you can join a series of other investing events in the city.

Allocators in the Good Investing ecosystem include
An urban loft experience in one of Munich’s most beautiful quarters
We hold the day at Out of Office, a 300 m² artist-studio loft with a 60 m² rooftop terrace looking out over one of Munich’s most creative quarters, the Glockenbachviertel.
The space is relaxed and private. Conversations happen one to one and in small groups, with room to step away for a quiet word whenever you need it. The quarter also offers opportunities for walking 1:1s.
The urban venue is a few minutes from the main station, surrounded by cafés, ateliers, and old workshops. It has a warm, feel-at-home atmosphere.
The Omaha format, now in Munich
We have hosted investors in Omaha and run 150+ curated events since 2018. The Good Investing Day brings that same small, prepared, high-signal format to Munich. As one of the first managers in the room, you also help shape how it grows.
Built around your interests
We shape the allocator mix and the agenda around the kind of capital you are looking for your fund.
Your voice carries weight
A small founding group means your input on format, timing, and allocators genuinely changes the event.
A standing seat as it grows
Be in the room for the first edition and keep your seat as the Good Investing Day returns to Munich in the years ahead.
Why Tilman runs this room
Good Investing is built by Tilman Versch. His Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting guide reaches a large global audience around the AGM. Around the Berkshire meeting in Omaha, Good Investing already runs a multi-day experience for managers and allocators. The Munich Day builds on that proven format.
Through the Good Investing Talks interview series, he has spoken in depth with hundreds of fund managers worldwide. That network is the filter for this room. Guests of the Good Investing Talks interviews include Guy Spier, Dev Kantesaria, and Fred Liu.
