FAQ: Emerging Managers Meeting @ Berkshire Hathaway

The dress code is casual to business casual.

The event is limited to 100 participants. It is highly likely to be sold out.

The following applies:

Allocators can bring additional team members. Simply e-mail us with their information.
Fund managers can bring additional team mates if they are paying members of the community.

The Emerging Managers Meeting is a pure networking event. After collecting your name tag, you can start networking with other participants.

We are happy to assist you with targeted introductions throughout the event. Please let us know if you want to speak to a dedicated person.

Please stay at least 90 minutes to benefit greatly from the event. Otherwise, you will miss out on many great networking opportunities.

We are meeting at a nice and spacious space in Downtown Omaha.

As an allocator, we will e-mail you the address once you have successfully registered. Please ensure that you have confirmed the newsletter subscription to be able to receive the location.
As a fund manager, you get the location in Good Investing Plus.

Most Emerging Managers that join us in Omaha are long-term oriented stock pickers who are deeply inspired by Warren Buffett.

We also had guests from other fields of investing (VC, real estate, private equity) that really enjoyed participating in the Emerging Manager Meeting.

Allocators come from all over the globe. We had guests from Asia (e.g. Singapore, South Korea, China), Africa (e.g. South Africa) and Europe (e.g. France, Belgium, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland).

You will find a wide set of institutional setups in our allocator group. Smaller and larger (multi) family offices, foundations and endowments, as well as local asset managers, participated in the event.

We host a dedicated allocator-only networking event in close timely proximity to the Emerging Managers Meeting to allow allocators to network with peers during the Berkshire Hathaway AGM week. More details on this fun event and additional networking opportunities will be shared after registration.
